To improve all environment-related activities and processes at Kaatsch management has decided to introduce an environmental management system in accordance with DIN-EN-ISO 14001.
The company’s common aim is to realise voluntary and continual environmental improvement beyond the legal parameters. We implement this wherever ecologically possible and economically reasonable.
Environmental improvement must be noticeable for our staff – this is to be achieved effectively together with all staff.
Thus, environmentally-friendly business has always been and remains a leading goal at M. Kaatsch GmbH. Consequently, it is a central component of all issues arising from our commercial and ecological behaviour and the associated use of ground, water, air and energy.
We are convinced that recycling raw materials stocks protects, saves energy and helps the environment. However, to ensure this works well, as much used material as possible has to be collected, stored and prepared so that it can be reused as secondary raw material.
As part of our main aims we have developed a site-related environmental policy and codified this in our company’s environmental guidelines. Introducing an environmental management system in accordance with DIN EN ISO 14001 gives us an instrument of support for
- Regulating process flows,
- Fulfilling legal requirements
- Facilitating verification with regard to legally compliant implementation.
This corrective and preventative system includes a structured flow from recognising a fault, introducing emergency measures, through an appropriate fault analysis, to the corrective measures.
Our main goal in the long term is to bring about a structured, continual and lasting process of further development and improvement to environmental services and environmental protection at M. Kaatsch GmbH.
In this context and combined with the idea of taking the next courageous step in “Environment and Recycling”, we ask all staff, and our partners at customers and suppliers, to make a deliberate, active and committed contribution to the environmental management system at our company.
