The foundry market puts very high demands on secondary raw materials with regard to quality and purity. We have become a valued partner of foundries thanks to our decades of experience.
When we receive goods we first differentiate between semi-finished foundry materials from casting and steel. Above all the casting sector includes machine parts and gear boxes.
They are broken down according to the foundries’ wishes. In addition, grey cast iron chips are also included in this group. We collate these on our site and store them until they flow directly back into the production cycle.
Heavy sheet steel and beams come under the steel semi-finished product group. We cut them down into “cupola scrap” on our cupola cutter.
Production remnants from the manufacturing industry, such as punchings and sheet clippings, are evaluated analytically and stored by type until they are recycled.
We determine the composition and format of the scrap in dialogue with the foundries. Depending on the order we deliver sheet clippings unprocessed or as deep-draw packages, loose or pressed chips, or cupola scrap of different dimensions.
We always take the desired analytical quality into account. Due to these processes the foundries can use our scrap 100 % as secondary materials; the cycle is closed again thanks to product recycling.
